Committees

Based on the Law, the Agency consists of two Commissions for the implementation of the mandate of the AKKVP: the Commission for Verification and Settlement of Properties (KVVP) and the Commission for Property Claims (KKP).

The Secretariat provides support with professional, legal, administrative and technical staff in the performance of their legal functions, through the supporting Offices of the Commissions.

Property Verification and Settlement Commission (KVVP)

In its mandate, the KVVP will have the review and resolution of differences and inconsistencies between the original cadastral documents before June 1999, which were received from Kosovo by the Serbian authorities, and the current cadastral documents in the Republic of Kosovo, for the property private property, private commercial property and private property of religious communities.

KVVP consists of five (5) members. Two (2) of the members of the KVVP are appointed by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo after the proposal by the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kosovo, while three (3) of the five (5) members of the Commission, including one (1) community representative not a majority, are appointed by PSBE in accordance with law 04/L-274.

Property Claims Commission (KKP)

According to Law 05/L-010, KKP will continue to resolve claims related to Private Real Property, including Agricultural and Commercial Property presented to KPA until the settlement of all accepted claims. KKP consists of three (3) members. One member is appointed by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo after the proposal by the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kosovo, while two (2) international members are appointed by the PSBE in accordance with law 04/L-274.

The KKP was appointed by the PSBE. Chairman and member of the KKP is Mrs. Violeta Demaj
